New Online and Mobile Banking Solutions Set to Launch August 26!

Merck Employees Federal Credit Union is committed to providing our valued members a dynamic, secure and personalized banking experience. We are pleased to announce that on August 26 the credit union will launch its new online and mobile banking applications to better serve your banking needs.

The new solutions feature a fresh design and layout as well as industry-leading security features. Beyond the design and security enhancements, you will be able to better monitor your accounts through personalized alerts and utilize a new secure messaging system to get fast, accurate responses on a range of topics from our highly-trained team.

While the systems are new, all of the popular functionality remains. From Mobile Check Deposit and eStatements, to new and improved Bill Payment and Account Transfer capabilities, the feature rich system allows you to bank at your convenience. Here are some key things to be aware of:

  • The conversion will occur from Aug. 22 to 26.
  • During the conversion period you will still be able to access your accounts via online banking and telephone teller, and your MEFCU debit and credit cards will function as normal.
  • Members will not be able to initiate new online transfers and bill payments during the brief conversion period, however any previously scheduled transfers and bill payments will be processed as normal.
  • The current mobile banking application will be disabled during the conversion period. The new mobile banking application can be download to your mobile device on Aug. 26.

I encourage you to please review our FAQs on the conversion by clicking here. If you have further questions you can contact the credit union directly at 732-594-3317. While we will continue to enhance our technology offerings, we still offer the same highly personalized service that the credit union is known for so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Older Americans are increasingly falling victim to financial fraud and scams, losing billions to scammers and even family and friends. Between 2013 and 2017, financial institutions reported more than $6 billion in assets held by seniors that may have been impacted by fraudulent activity, according to a study conducted by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
The Merck Employees Federal Credit Union is now offering online educational resources available to members by clicking here. We encourage all members and their families to take advantage of the CU Senior Safeguard program to learn  more about elder financial abuse and ways to prevent it.
