On October 9, the credit union hosted a webinar with its partner Carefull on how to avoid fraud and scams. The event was well-attended with over 200 credit union members registered and many members were able to ask questions and get advice on both fraud prevention and identity theft.
Along with all the most common scams out there today, Carefull shared newer, more sophisticated frauds and tips on how to prevent them. The webinar wrapped up with information on what to do if you or someone you know is a victim of identity theft.
